Does Anybody Know Of Any Toddlers Books Explaining Cancer And Death?
my husband passed away almost 3 weeks ago. he had bladder cancer. we were fortunate to have him at home until 1 1/2 days before he passed away. with this being said, our 2 1/2 year old daughter witnessed daddy experiencing sciatic pain all the time, extreme fatigue, radiation treatments 5 days a week for 3 weeks, loss of appetite, vomitting, daily medication etc. she would not understand why daddy was always sleeping, not eating, always hurting, not able to play “rumble tumble”,go shopping or just go for a car ride. now daddy has died,we have told her daddy is in heaven, way high in the sky, she now blows hugs and kisses towards the sky for daddy. she knows we cannot see or touch him except in pictures and she knows he is always watching us. we have been giving daddy’s pic hugs and kisses every night before bed.she has been saying i wish he was here. Now 2 days ago she said daddy is still in the hospital and will be home in 3 days. any ideas how to deal with this one?? PLEASE.
Advice On Biopsy On Throat – Possible Cancer?
Hubby is a smoker, also has acid reflex – and takes his medication daily. Last few years, during this time he gets a severe soar throat – diagnosed as sinus/allergies. Each year it gets worse. He has seen several doctors and finally this doctor is requesting a biopsy for possible cancer.
He fears this because 4 other people he knows (including his only sister) all had cancer in throat and died. He says that once they had the biopsy, and air had got to it – the cancer had spread.
He would like to know if there are any alternatives or methods that could be done. We remain to be positive on this. Please advise or tell of your experience. Thanks.

What Is Our Current Life Expectancy Age Based On? Is It Mislaeading?
I often hear media and medical articles state that the age life expectancy has increased over the past century, and yet as a health care worker I witness many people dying of heart disease, diabetes, cancer, side effects of AIDS (or the medications prescribed to treat it), accidents, drug overdoses and other conditions. Considering those who die in their 20’s – 50’s in addition to lives lost in the war, how is life expectancy determined?
At What Point Is Hospice Involved? My Father In Law Has Cancer And They Were Just Told To Come.?
As an earlier post said, my father-in-law has cancer. It went from the esophagus to the brain, went into remission and is back in the brain, hes recieved radiation and is finished with that with the follow up to come soon (1/2 strength because of less than a year in the same spot) now his lymph nodes are swelling and a doctor this weekend said “get your affairs in order” “lost the battle” this is not his cancer specialist though. Now hes at home in constant pain even though hes on some strong medications. Hospice was called already, but he wanted to see what the specialist said. We are lost. We dont know what to do, we visit when we can, but dont know if we should spend constant time there or not.
Where The Best Online Pharmacy With No Prescription And Overnight Delivery?
Be careful when you find one, because they have found cyanide and other poisons in pills ordered over internet with no prescriptions ( I believe the report was on 60 minutes).I’m not judging you, but maybe you should go to doctor and then go to Walgreens.
Y Is Medication Expensive For Those Who Are Dependent On It? Such As Cancer, Hiv, Hemophiliacs, Etc. Patients?
I just found out that Hemophiliacs have to pay $2 per unit for there factor medication. Now I know that some patients have to receive over 500 units a week. In other words, if u have a patient A who needs this factor medication once a week because its a necessity for them. This Patient A is paying 1,000 a week for his/her medication if he/she doesn’t have insurance. That’s 4,000 a month. THAT’S INSANE…
What’s going on here? Why do these patients have to suffer more than they have to. I cant imagine what cancer patients and other terminal ill patients have to pay for. People create medicine to find a cure or to at least minimize the patients conditions to a certain illness. People donate millions of dollars to companies to find a cure. THEY DONATE!!! So, how come once a cure if found they turn around and charge a patient 1000 for medication that they were sponsored to find themselves. Are there people who fight against this type of stuff? If so, who?
How do you guys feel about that? Some of you may not be concerned about this until you or someone you love have to deal with this type of situation. In my case that is the situation. Im not saying give this medicine out for free but make it reasonable for patients to afford the medication themselves if they are denied insurance. I dont know anyone personally who is pocketing an extra 1000 in there pocket a week. People have to live in this economy and have to feed there children while providing a roof over there heads.
Well, that’s all I have to say. For those who have to go through this ordeal God Bless You.
