My mother in law has type 2 diabetes and she also has mild to moderate Alzheimer’s. Is there a drug that can slow down the progression of this dies ease without interfering with her blood sugar readings? she hardly knows any of us and lives in the past , sometimes she wanders , sometimes she just get confused , like the other day my husband went over to stay with her while his daddy went to his doctor and she said ” I think he will be home soon with our son.” And my husband said ” Mom i am here , i am your son, and she just looked really baffled like she was almost talking about her son being five years old again not 45. She just looked at him for the longest time and then sat down and did nothing at all. I know she took meds for depression until the doctor took her off of that, she also had breast cancer and had her breast removed. Not very much time passed until she came down with Alzheimer’s because the doctor took her off of her hormone pills because it was interacting with the blood sugar readings and the cancer medication. Is there anything now that she can take that will not screw up her blood sugar readings and cause another issue?

Does Anyone Now What Was The Type Of Cancer T.c Douglas From Saskatchewan Died From?
Tommy Douglas died from a type of cancer but I don’t know what kind. I am curious because I think he passed in 1986, and at that time he was told there was no therapy or medication he could take to control the spread of the disease.I was wondering what type of cancer is it that has no treatment available. Tommy Douglas was the leader of the NDP in the Canadian Parliament

My Dog, A 9 Yo Labrador Has Cancer Mast Cell Type Iii, He Has Been Put On Several Meds.?
He has just had surgery, the last one he will be able to have as the cancer is seated in the chest wall.. it has NOT spread to the organs… yet.. I have him on a supplemental program with a high protein diet and he is also taking antihistamines as this cancer is caused by histamines… the vet put him on Rimadyl 75mg 2x daily.. he is also an epileptic..so he takes phenobarbitol 2x daily… vet also added thyroxin to help him heal more normally…. I am living on disability so my finances are very tight… but I love this dog so… he is my best friend and my companion… Is there hope that he may get stronger with the immune system boosters… and the antihistamines may stave off the spread of this diabolical killer… I am just so heartbroken and am keeping a strong positive front around my sweet friend… Is it the cancer that will eventually take him from me or all these medications…. I have heard that Rimadyl is extremely hard on the system…
