How Much Should I Expect To Make As A Pharmacy Technician In San Jose, Ca With 8 Years Inpatient Experience?
I’m moving to San Jose this summer. By the time I move, I will have 8 years experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy. I am also nationally certified now. What is a reasonable amount to ask for when filling out applications? Right now I live in Mississippi and am only making about $12.50 an hour after adding my shift differential. Everywhere I have looked online has given me a different amount ranging from $8 an hour to $72,000 a year. I assume neither is correct. If anyone has any suggestions on what is a fair amount to ask, I would be very grateful.

I Need Continuing Ed For Pharmacy Technicians And Do Not Know Where To Find It. 20 Hours In 2 Years.?
I am a certified pharm. tech. (Aug 2007 testing) and already one year is almost over. I would like to get these CEs online, if possible. Even the PTCB website doesn’t list where to get them. Nancy B

I Don’t Have “doctor Money” To Get Pills I’ve Taken For 9 Years. Are The Online Pharmacies Legit?
The medication is clonazepam 1.0 mg. I can get it at the drug store with a current prescription for about $12. The problem is, my prescription is expired; I’ve moved; don’t have money to go to a new doctor. My old doctor will not renew without seeing me–I have no way to get to her, 100 miles away.

Question About Cancer : My Dad Discovered A Suprarenal Tumor 8 Years Ago.?
It was a big tumor.He had it surgically removed but remnants of the tumor remained of course.He started taking the medication Lysodren (mitotane).He is still on it as we speak.He also started taking glucocorticoids in order to compensate for the hormones released from the adrenal cortex which is now inactive due to the use of mitotane.Up till now the tumor is suppressed.About a year ago he discovered cancerous leukoplakia on his tongue.He had them surgically removed but they keep appearing and he keeps removing them surgically.So my question is : Is there a relation between the oral administration of mitotane and glucocorticoids and the appearance of oral cancer ? And what other methods of treatment other than surgical excision are available for small cancerous leukoplakia? Please this is very important for me.Thanks a lot

40 Small Cigars Over 4 Years = Lung Cancer?
I’m 18 years old. For the past 3 or 4 days, I’ve been experiencing what I think might be lung cancer symptoms.
I have never smoked much. Since I was 14, I would occasionally have a Black & Mild cigar. I think that I’ve smoked 40 of these cigars at most during the last 4 years. When I first started smoking these cigars, I would usually inhale. This was a habit for maybe a year. After then, I barely inhaled.
Recently, I’ve had a cough, a strange froggy feeling in the bottom of my throat that won’t go away, heart palpitations, weakness, nervousness, and dull pains in my chest that may just be my imagination.
I’ve been to the emergency room of a nearby hospital a couple of times, but they only prescribed a asthma medication, Advair, and allergy medication. I would like to be checked for cancer, but I’m unsure who to go to.
I’d like a professional opinion. Time is a big factor. Could this be lung cancer?

Cancer Effects? 13 Years Old?!?!?
I posted a question earlier and someone said i have the side effects some cancer patients have when on medication =/ The funny thing is I notice a lump on my right male 13 year old breast, I think I do have cancer…

Well ive taken this stuff before a couple times and some lung medications and stuff like that but for the past 2 days ive been getting REALLY REALLY itchy during the night.
Im on pulmicort
im doing that machine thing where u breathe in some kind of vapor for 15mins some thing that clicks (like some type of inhaler) and then u breathe in fast and rinse out your mouth. and singular. and this one other pill i take 3 a day for

Is There An Increase In Prostate Cancer And Men Using Erectile Dysfunction Medications (50-60 Years Old) ?
I met a spouse while at the doctor’s with my husband. Both men had started using ED meds 5 years ago. I remember how many of female friends developed breast cancer when Dr. jumped on the HRT meds. Have there been any long-term studies of the use of ED meds?
